In this Nu Skin Review, I'll provide you with the scoop on the company, history, products, pay plan and, most importantly, why 97% of Nu Skin reps are failing.

To begin with, I want to state that Nu Skin seems to be a good, legitimate company. There'll no bashing within this review. They have been a network marketing industry leader for the past 2 decades. They've reportedly created 700 millionaires globally plus some sources claim the company is developing a new millionaire every 10 days. So how can you dispute stats like this?

The Company

Nu Skin was founded back in 1984 by a brother/sister team (Blake and Nedra Roney), their close friend Sandi Tillotson and Steve Lund. Twenty six years ago, they started having a $5,000 investment and a dream that today has resulted into a billion dollar company that has over 820,000 active distributors in 48 different countries. This company includes a long-standing positive revenue history with projected revenue for 2011 being $1.60 billion. Since its inception, Nu Skin's mission is to improve people's lives through quality products, rewarding work at home opportunities and an uplifting, enriching culture.

Nu Skin can also be very big on giving to people in need and supports humanitarian efforts all over the world. Their efforts began in 2002 with their Nourish the Children Initiative which now provides about 80,000 meals every month towards the kids of Malawi. In 2006, the Nu Skin Force permanently Foundation founded the Mtalimanja Village project (this project was named through the people of Malawi - Mtalimanja means "long hands that give"). This Village Project made a "living classroom" for about 40 Malawi farmers as well as their families to become educated and trained in fish farming, drip irrigation, sustainable farming, forest conservation and tree farming. Founder Steve Lund stated these programs are not about giving hand-outs -- it's about empowering individuals to become self-reliant and achieve a better life. As of this writing, the first student families have spent nearly two years in the village and can soon be going back to their very own villages to show these new principles to other people.

These products

Back in 1984, Nu Skin Enterprises began and had an original affiliate marketing of 12 products. Today, they've many items that address a number of skin-related difficulties with many concentrating on anti-aging. They also offer men's care, body cleansers, body exfoliants, proper hair care, oral care, sun-protection and cosmetics. Because of the enormity from the inventory, just the most widely used and efficient (as advertised) products is going to be explained below.

-- ageLOC. To put it simply, ageLOC may be the science of targeting aging at its source. Nu Skin collaborated with scientists all over the world (i.e., Stanford, Purdue and LifeGen Technologies) and could identify SuperMarkers called Youth Gene Clusters that are functional groups of genes that regulate the way we appear to age (not one other company is believed to have identified these gene clusters). They state that ageLOC's propriety science is able to reset these Youth Gene Clusters to their youthful patterns of activity. Dr. Joseph Chang, Chief Scientific Officer of Nu Skin, states "There isn't any doubt that to be able to retain a young appearance, genes must regain their youthful activity patterns. By analyzing human tissue at the genetic level, we've learned the crucial role of gene expression in retaining one's youth." The ageLOC skin care line was launched in January 2010 and it has broken all records. Because these statements about having the ability to reset genes to revive youth aren't anything short of miraculous, so many people are reporting how old they are being reduced by five, ten and some even say twenty years. Using the skincare line being dubbed "the tip of the iceberg", Nu Skin recently added a supplement called Vitality to its ageLOC line. This can be a nutritional product said to be in a position to turn back aging process (from inside). Imagine what it could be like to "reset the clock"! This really is causing a significant stir understandably. Individuals are appearing out of retirement simply to get back into Nu Skin and market this unique product. You will see a LOTof money made about this one....

-- Galvanic Spa. The Galvanic Spa can also be part of the ageLOC system and it is accustomed to remove wrinkles and appear younger. Galvanic treatments are nothing new and also have existed for over a hundred years. Galvanic treatments use mild, pain-free electrical currents in combination with topical items that also provide the same charge. So, by formulating products to experience a specific charge and using mild, safe and pain-free electrical currents of the same charge, the currents are able to "push" the product directly into the skin. These treatments, through a gentle massaging action, assistance to focus cellular energy and enhance circulation. These treatments also stimulate blood circulation, bringing a number of benefits to the skin. Until the hand-held controller was created, galvanic spa treatments could only be done at salons or spas and was a very costly affair (lots of people paid 100's of dollars per treatment). Nu Skin created their very own award-winning, patented hand-held device that delivers all of the benefits of a galvanic spa without leaving your home. Additionally they reduced the cost of the galvanic spa treatments down to about $10 per treatment and also the treatments can be achieved in less than ten minutes a day. It has caused MASS appeal and also the interest in this product is big.

-- Pharmanex. This isn't really one product particularly but a variety of items that offers a complete approach to anti-aging with nutritional supplements formulated to nourish and protect your body from the ravages of your time. ageLOC Vitality is part of this Nu Skin product category. This vast product line has a selection of nutritional products for example: reverse gene therapy (through ageLOC science), cell protection, energy and stamina, heart health, immune support, mood support, men's health, women's health, bone and joint support, memory support, specialized needs (i.e. eyes, veins, detox), digestive health and weight management.

The Comp plan

Welcome to the "smoke and mirrors" part of this review. Seriously, that's how most network marketing plans come off whenever you research them. A lot of jargon and complex words and phrases all to make it sound "official" and extremely probably a lot more than it's. The bottom line to make money in any network marketing clients are VOLUME. You are going to need to sell on volume to make anything. Nu Skin pays out about 45% and they have a history of make payment on highest number of commissions from any big network company around. Take a look on your own - this really is public information as Nu Skin is a publicly owned company and they've to report these details (and their reporting needs to be accurate).

When Nu Skin opened it doors in 1984 they had the "old school" pay plan... and yes they still do (stair step break-away). In fact, their plan has hardly changed in 25 years. That will scare some people but then why must it? Reiterated again (in the intro section of this review): Nu Skin has created over 700 millionaires globally and it is said to be developing a new millionaire every 10 days.

The business's comp plan does its job and appears to be encouraging the right kind of behavior from the distributors. Don't be misled by all of the hype you read on multilevel marketing companies. If they are a publicly-traded company, this sort of details are simple to find and incredibly accurate. This comp plan is creating new blue diamonds every week, which is a testament that the compensation plan is solid.

Why 97% of Nu Skin Reps are Struggling and Failing

Ok, so you've this supposedly good company with solid history, good products, good comp plan and solid plans for the future. So why the heck are 97% of Nu Skin reps failing miserably? There are reportedly 700 millionaires within this company, what exactly concerning the other 819,300 reps? You can bet that many of these individuals are at the bottom without any upline support and struggling and, if they have not already given up, take presctiption the verge. Why? Please see the reason below.

First, it is not the company's fault. Just look at the facts of the review. The only real negative that may be seen with this clients are there are a LOT of distributors and the products have already been exposed to huge numbers of people. But Nu Skin is definitely developing new things and are said to be way ahead of their competitors within their niche. So you really do not need to bother about that. As far as the amount of distributors go... yes 820,000 is a lot, but with the economy the actual way it is and people having to supplement their income, you've enough NEW people every day looking on the internet for home business opportunities that you shouldn't worry about that either. It is stated that presently has never been a better time for you to begin a home business. And the MLM industry has created more millionaires than every other industry available.

It is also NOT the distributor's fault either. They don't start a business using the thought of intentionally which makes it fail. They need money and success and all the stuff that accompany a successful home-based business. The secret is in WHAT THEY ARE Being shown.

Leadership - How to be Among the Top 3%

The only method you will beat that 97% failure rate and obtain the leadership status you want is by KNOWLEDGE. All I can say is learn, learn and learn more. There are plenty of people who are "getting it" and using what is known as "attraction marketing" to construct successful businesses. Do some research on these successful people (and attraction marketing) and grow from them.

You have to BECOME the leader and stand out. Have confidence in yourself AND your business. Don't take the solution NO from yourself. In the future, do everything in EXCELLENCE and do not expect anything less. Achieve this... there is no excuse.
